| WHAT IS IT? | |||||
| Restylane SubQ is a clear gel based on hyaluronic acid. A simple injection of SubQ requires only minimal downtime (24 hours) and delivers the volume needed to achieve a smooth lift, with optimal results. The whole treatment takes approximately 30 minutes, and the beauty of it is, the improvement to the facial contours is immediate. The whole treatment is performed through the mouth with no external marks. Experience from overseas has shown this product to last for 10 to 14 months. The end result is a fuller cheek or chin, sharper feature and a refreshed, rejuvenated appearance without the tell-tale signs of surgery. |

| TREATMENT | |||||
| Because HA is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies, a skin test is not required, and treatment takes only about 15-20 minutes. There is some discomfort but this is limited to the injection of the local anaesthetic. Before treatment, your cheeks will be marked in the standing position to get a good idea where is the best place for enhancement. The area is then treated with a local anaesthetic injection to make the actual treatment comfortable. Restylane SubQ is then injected into the cheek area to sculpt your midface for rejuvenation or enhancement. |

| Due to the effects of the injection of local anaesthetic it is be better to rest until the next day and return to work after 36 to 48 hours. The anaesthetic wears off about 6 hours after the procedure and you are advised to take some pain killers at about that time to prevent any discomfort. | |||||
